Held close
For all that's worth
Burying my nose
Partially concealing my mirth

Time standing still
As I hear the heavy-to-light thumps
All of it is real
It Is real, It is Autumn

Grasping tightly,
Taking a deep breath in
And letting it out shakily
Thoughts of chagrin running through my mind

Eyes closed,
Removing the frowns
My body in repose
But felt like breaking down

Flying and out
What's this all about?
The thumps I was hearing
but now feeling

Within me
That little creature hides
Haunting me consistently
But its words I will not abide

For where all lust lies
Away with them
This time, right here, right now, time flies..
Being loved, where I am
Held close in your arms.

Hey

Why the sad smile on your face
Head hung low, felt like you've disgraced
the Whole World and yourself,
and brought down everyone else

Why the tears that stream down your cheeks
That glistens brightly under the sun
The little branches at the side that tweak
At each bird that sets its foot on it

Those precious tears not meant to be seen
for Something worth so little
But should only show when there's joy found in justice
Don't be so brittle

Why the doubt you carry within you?
Everywhere you go with the heavy sack
Why the problems you force yourself to go through?
The pathway you walk will only be shaky, bleak and black.

Take a turn and look to the sun
What do you see?
What lies ahead?
What lies beyond?

The clear azure sky
Shining in those eyes
The smile of hope, you have to try
It takes away all deathly lies.
