Kind silence for dislike,
Hostility looms around Grace
It but only takes a single strike
To find yourself displaced

Be aware, if not on your toes,
The one who sleeps
Greater are those who love their foes,
But woe to those whose love they keep

They take an eye for an eye;
A tooth for a tooth
Hate begets Hate,
but Regret is not too late

In every corner, every bend,
You will surely not miss
A Sign of righteousness
You can’t quickly dismiss

It hovers around like a bright light
Exposing every thorn and every blight
In hopes to someday restore

But listen while you can
And do what you must
Before it will be no more
And everything to ashes and dust.
